Agnes Hedengård è una modella svedese davvero bellissima che qualche giorno fa ha pubblicato un video in cui mostra il suo corpo e spiega che per l’industria della moda è troppo grassa. La cosa incredibile è che Agnes ha un indice di massa corporea di 17,5 e quindi, tabelle alla mano, risulta addirittura sottopeso.
Il video “Too big for the industry” sta facendo il giro del mondo e tutti sono concordi nel ritenere che sia impossibile che Agnes sia considerata troppo grassa per sfilare. Il problema a quanto pare sta tutto nelle proporzioni tra cosce e fianchi che sono troppo abbondanti, motivo per cui non riesce a lavorare.

La questione non riguarda solo Agnes Hedengård è un problema globale, questa ossessiva e costante rincorsa della perfezione, questo dover rientrare in centimetri, schemi e tabelle senza capire che si è tutti diversi, tutti meravigliosamente diversi. In un mondo come questo è quasi normale assistere a fenomeni assurdi come il Project Harpoon, ovvero qualcuno che prende le foto di modelle curvy, le modifica per farle apparire magre per dimostrare che magro è bello senza tener conto delle storie, le sconfitte e le guerre che ognuno di noi si porta dentro.
