La notizia arriva dal sito ufficiale di Lucca Comics & Games, kermesse dedicata al fumetto e ai giochi nelle varie forme: Riot Games (società statunitense di sviluppo di videogiochi fondata nel 2006) parteciperà alla fiera con League of Legends, famosissimo videogioco online.
Alla Fiera parteciperanno i suoi sviluppatori e anche alcuni dei suoi designer. Non solo: il popolare gioco online sarà presente tutti e quattro i giorni, dal 29 ottobre al 1° novembre, con attività, partite, sfilate cosplay e tanto altro. Per l’occasione sarà dedicata un’area intera al videogioco, all’interno dell’ex Cavallerizza in uno spazio enorme.
Sviluppato e pubblicato nel 2011 da Riot Games per Microsoft Windows e Mac OS X, questo videogame oggi ha più di 70 milioni di registrazioni e 12 milioni di giocatori al giorno. È disponibile in più lingue, come l’inglese, il tedesco, il russo e anche l’italiano.
