Matt Damon ha portato a casa il Chairman’s Award mentre Cate Blanchett e Johnny Depp ha ricevuto il Desert Palm Achievement Awards. Sono stati premiati anche Saoirse Ronan, Brie Larson, Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Rooney Mara, Bryan Cranston, il regista Tom McCarthy e il cast di The Big Short.
Kate Winslet per l’occasione ha indossato un abito nero di Roland Mouret, Amber Heard ha scelto un paio di scarpe di Brian Atwood.
