Al Festival del Cinema di Venezia 2016 è la giornata di The Young Pope, la miniserie televisiva creata e diretta da Paolo Sorrentino che verrà trasmessa ad ottobre da Sky Atlantic. Protagonista Jude Law, che interpreta il primo papa americano della storia Papa Pio XIII. Nel cast anche Silvio Orlando, Cécile de France, Ludivine Sagnier, Scott Shepherd, James Cromwell e Javier Camara.
