L’artista concettuale tedesco Ha Schult ha presentato ad Amburgo il suo ultimo progetto, “Freiheitswand”, che significa “Muro della libertà”: si tratta di una serie di poesie, collage, fotografie e lettere a tema libertà che Schult ha ricevuto dopo aver aver invitato tutti i cittadini di Amburgo a partecipare al progetto.
I lavori sono stati stampati e installati su un muro alto 6 metri per 10 di lunghezza nel centro della città. Schult – nato a Parchim nel 1939 – è famoso per le sue opere realizzate recuperando spazzatura, tra cui “Situation Schackstrasse”, il lavoro per il quale nel 1969 fu arrestato a Monaco (aveva ricoperto di rifiuti e cartacce una strada della città), “Trash People”, “Hotel Europa”, “Beach Garbage Hotel Corona” (realizzato nel 2010 a Castel Sant’Angelo) e “Loveletters Building”.
