Se siete stati a Napoli, conoscerete l’usanza del “caffè sospeso”, abitudine dei napoletani di lasciare un caffè pagato per un cliente sconosciuto, il più delle volte offerto alle persone povere.
Una tradizione e un gesto di solidarietà ancora oggi parte della cultura partenopea che a Frascati si è trasformata in “giocattolo sospeso”.
In pratica per questo Natale la consuetudine napoletana viene ripresa in un’iniziativa di solidarietà per i bambini bisognosi: si comprano due giocattoli di cui uno sarà “sospeso”, ovvero offerto ai bambini le cui famiglie versano in condizioni di necessità. Oppure si versa una somma e un bigliettino d’auguri che saranno dati alle famiglie.
L’iniziativa è promossa dall’Associazione Jambo Watoto Onlus, in collaborazione con Merkatoys, e durerà per tutte le feste di Natale.
Una bella iniziativa da prendere come spunto in tutte le altre città d’Italia, per un Natale solidale.
